*The opportunity to qualify for the feeding of the 5000 is now closed.* Anyone who paid it forward $999 or higher between August 22, 2021-December 31, 2021 is qualified to come on set.
Your support of The Chosen has been monumental, and we are so thankful. We would like to invite you to attend an exciting production for Season 3 - the Feeding of 5,000 filming. We will be capturing this epic scene over the course of 2 days. Both days will offer the same experience. You are welcome to attend as our guest and enjoy the day or you can participate in costume as an extra for the filming.
See below for more instructions and important information should you like to attend the #F5K.
Registration:
You may sign up for only 1 day to attend this event. You must choose either June 7 or June 8.
Tickets for both days will be distributed gradually and on a first-come, first-serve basis. To ensure we have the same crowd size each day, once you have secured your tickets, you will not be able to change the day. While we understand situations are unpredictable, we can’t make exceptions to this rule.
We want to ensure that every person who qualified for #F5K is able to attend. As we indicated throughout the qualification process, guests are limited to your household/immediate family.
Due to set limitations and COVID-19 constraints, initial registration will be limited to the PIF qualifier and four (4) family members. That doesn't mean others can't attend! We will do everything we can to accommodate your additional household members given filming constraints. If your immediate family (those who live with you) who will participate in #F5K is more than five (5) people, you will need to contact liveevents@thechosen.tv to begin the accommodation process.
Registration is open for a 2 week period (March 22 through April 4, closing at 12pm EST). When the registration period ends, we will not accept any more registrations. If we hit our daily maximum capacity prior to April 4, the registration period will close early. There will be no exceptions to this.
Ticket Options:
- (1) PIF Qualifier Ticket - The PIF qualifier is the individual who paid it forward. Registration is free and limited to 1 per transaction.
- (1) Guest Ticket - You may bring 4 members of your immediate household only. If you do not have immediate family attending, you may bring 1 guest of your choosing. Registration is $100 (plus tax + fees) per person.
- Age 1 and under will be free, no ticket required.
- Your previous $999 pay it forward = you
- +$100= You and 1 immediate household members or guest
- +$200= You and 2 immediate household members
- +$300= You and 3 immediate household members
Event experience
We will have a VIP exclusive tent for you to enjoy with seating areas and catering prior to filming.
We will gather any dietary restrictions when you register.
Please be aware the set location is an open field with uneven terrain. This is an outdoor film set, so expect to be outdoors all day. There will be portable restrooms available.
COVID-19 testing is required prior to arriving on set. At a later date, you will receive an email to choose an arrival time for this testing and we will inform you of your COVID-19 antigen testing and parking location.
All people on set will be filmed. If you do not wish to be filmed, please do not come to the set.
Prepare for an early morning call time and expect to be on set with us for 10-12 hours.
You must be in costume when you arrive as you are attending to participate in the filming of #F5K.
You can check out our official F5K website right now for wardrobe how-to videos and a "style guide" that explain what is appropriate for 1st century costumes.
*Please note, this website was made for our general extras, so while the information on it is tailored for their experience, the wardrobe section applies to you as well.*
Outside of filming, you can enjoy exclusive performances, explore displays, and shop in our retail area.
Where will the filming take place? Midlothian, Texas
When will it take place? We will be filming on June 7th and 8th. You will only choose ONE of these days to be on set. RSVPs will hopefully go out by March 22nd, and that is when you will choose your day.
Will The Chosen cover my travel? No, you will be responsible for all travel expenses. You can get more answers about travel arrangements HERE.
Will I have to wear a costume? YES! Everyone who comes must be in costume. Learn more about costumes HERE.
How do I confirm that I'll be attending the event? We hope to send out an RSVP form by March 22nd. It will be emailed to the email address you used when you originally signed into the app or website (at the time that you PIF'd), so please be sure your email address is correct.
Can I bring family members/guests with me? If so, how many? Yes, with certain requirements/limitations. For specific information, see THIS ARTICLE.
Do previous purchases made before the announcement count? Check out the last section of this article for more answers, HERE.
What can I expect the day to be like? It will be so great to have you on set! Read more about what it'll be like to be an extra HERE.
Will I have the opportunity to meet the cast and crew? Individual meet and greets will not be possible, but you will get to see Dallas and the actors on set.
Can I bring gifts for the cast and crew? We ask that you don't bring gifts on this day. With the chaos of having thousands of people, we cannot guarantee that the gifts will get where they need to go.
How might Covid affect my visit?
*SAG (Screen Actors Guild) requires extremely specific COVID-19 testing, both before you arrive on set and onsite. Prior to your arrival on set, you will be required to take a lab-administered PCR test (it cannot be antigen). *
- If you’re attending June 7, you must test no earlier than June 4 for a lab-based PCR test.
- If you’re attending June 8, you must test no earlier than June 5 for a lab-based PCR test.
- PCR test results are to be printed and brought with you to be reviewed upon arrival. Once we clear your negative PCR test results, you will then be required to take an antigen test onsite and receive a negative result.
- If you test positive onsite, you and your entire car (due to possible exposure) will not be allowed on set. You can participate regardless of your vaccination status, but vaccinated individuals still have to test per SAG rules.
- You will be required to wear a mask while you’re on set with us. Please bring one. Failure to comply could cause SAG to shut down production of The Chosen—we don’t want this to happen.
If any of SAG’s COVID-19 regulations change prior to filming, we will let you know ASAP.
Transportation to & from #F5K event
The rideshare and taxi options in the Midlothian area are extremely limited. We recommend that you rent a vehicle when you make your airfare and accommodation arrangements so you are not left stranded.
Further, due to the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) COVID-19 regulations, you will be required to stay in your vehicle throughout the testing process. This will ensure the health of everyone and enable us to keep to a time-sensitive schedule.
What if I have more Questions?:
Beginning on Tuesday, April 5, expect weekly emails with important information if you’re participating as an extra. If you’re just attending as a guest, we will email you periodically.
We will address costuming and props requirements for participating as an extra, provide a more detailed schedule of the day, explain any security precautions, and much more.
Should you have questions, feel free to email liveevents@thechosen.tv.
