These guidelines apply to anyone visiting the set (set visits and being an extra):
Will I have to provide proof of a negative test or vaccination?
We don’t know yet, but it is a definite possibility. The Chosen is required to follow the rules set out by the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and throughout the pandemic SAG has been very strict about masks and testing for COVID. We’re hopeful that by spring of 2022 all those requirements will no longer be necessary, but we can’t control the rules SAG makes.
We’ll pray that this isn’t an issue, but want you to be aware of the possibility of testing and masks being a part of the day.
What about the vaccine? We do not know what will happen with vaccinations, if they'll be accepted or required (based on SAG's guidelines), but we do know that we won't have control over the decision made there and will have to abide by those guidelines.
What happens if I test positive? IF we do have to test for Covid: be aware that if you test positive, you will not be able to go on set. It's complicated, we know. As mentioned, we hope this won't be an issue, but it's possible, so we're mentioning it.
